Terms of Service

By creating an account or using journeybench.com (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by JourneyBench, registered in Sri Lanka.

JourneyBench provides a web-based platform for tour operators to manage inquiries, build tour quotations, generate PDFs, issue invoices, send hotel voucher emails, and maintain a guest CRM. Features vary by plan (Free, Pro, Team) as described on the pricing page and may change over time.

• You must be 16 years or older to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and update it if it changes.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything unlawful, misleading, or harmful.
• Upload malware, attempt to disrupt the Service, or scrape it in a way that burdens our infrastructure.
• Reverse-engineer, resell, or sublicense the Service without written permission.
• Use the Service to send unsolicited or deceptive communications to your guests or clients.

You retain ownership of all content you create in JourneyBench (tour data, guest records, uploaded logos, PDFs). You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service on your behalf.

You are responsible for the legality of your content, including complying with data protection law when you store guest information.

• The Free plan has usage limits described on the pricing page.
• Paid plans (Pro, Team) are billed monthly via LemonSqueezy. Renewal is automatic unless you cancel.
• Trials are for evaluation only. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged.
• Prices may change. We give at least 30 days notice for price increases on existing subscribers.

Because we offer a 7-day free trial, all subscription payments are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current period. If we make a billing error, contact us and we will fix it.

You can cancel your subscription from your dashboard at any time. After cancellation, you retain access to Free-tier features. On account deletion, we remove your data within 30 days. You may export your data at any time from Settings.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of profit or data.

You agree to indemnify us for any claim arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

The Service integrates with third parties (Supabase, Vercel, LemonSqueezy, OpenRouteService). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party outages or content.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you by email. Continued use of the Service after the change constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Sri Lanka, unless mandatory consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
